Can a man be perfect? One thing learned from Aristotle is that a complete man juggles his duties flawlessly. Whether it’s being a good son, husband, father, lover, employee, brother, or friend, the expectation is to be a role model in all these roles. In the 21st century, a man’s strength lies in his behaviour, etiquette, habits, physique, identity, charm, agility, and strength.

Life demands physical, mental, and emotional fitness. Here’s how I strive for balance:

Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is crucial. No matter how busy or stressed I get, following a few simple habits makes a huge difference:

  • Eating right: I stick to balanced, nutritious meals and avoid junk and processed foods.
  • Regular exercise: I maintain a consistent exercise routine and set goals to keep myself motivated.
  • Taking breaks: Knowing when to relax and taking breaks helps rejuvenate my body.
  • Playing sports: I take up sports that challenge me and help me reach higher health goals.

Mental Well-being

Keeping my mind sharp is just as important. Here’s how I maintain my mental well-being:

  • Continuous learning: I always find ways to grow my knowledge and stay updated with current affairs.
  • Healthy hobbies: I pursue hobbies and side hustles that drive my passion and keep me engaged.
  • Building relationships: Developing meaningful relationships allows me to share my fears, goals, and expectations.

Emotional Well-being

Expressing emotions isn’t always easy for men. Stress, anxiety, and depression are often hidden well. Here’s what I do to maintain my emotional well-being:

  • Family support: I surround myself with a supportive family that cares for me.
  • Showing love: I care for my partner and family, showing them the love I want to receive.
  • Trustworthy friends: I invest in friendships and a social circle that I can trust and relate to.
  • Engaging hobbies: Developing healthy habits and exciting hobbies keeps me emotionally fulfilled.
  • Seeking guidance: I engage with mentors who guide me when I feel lost or unsure.

Can a man be perfect? Perfection may be elusive, but taking charge of my life and creating a good balance is key. Whenever I feel low or depressed, I take stock of my mental and emotional health.

A good diet, regular exercise, and stress relief are non-negotiable. I supplement my diet where necessary, using natural aids to harmonize my well-being.
